EMERGENCE showcases whimsical water lily leaves, rendered in an exaggerated sketch-like style. This pattern draws inspiration from the profound symbolism of water lilies in Buddhism and Hinduism, where they represent spiritual rebirth. The large-scale botanical subjects highlight the fascinating structural beauty of lily pads that allows their leaves to float gracefully on water, presenting a unique blend of abstraction and mathematical precision. EMERGENCE offers a captivating and spiritually resonant aesthetic for any space.
Loose and large-scale, FORM draws inspiration from formalism and the act of creating something purely for a visual, aesthetic effect. The sophisticated hand-painted composition is perfectly balanced and illustrates a purposeful, tailored design out of what feels like a whimsical and feminine line.
A play on the power of transparency, GÉOMÉTRIE is big and bold – an overlapping pattern of organic shapes creates the illusion of opacity without sacrificing beautiful texture and surface quality.
LA DANSE is a lyrical composition inspired by the negative space in Henri Matisse’s iconic cut-outs. The mural-like design creates a feeling of being embraced by an abstract painting. The beauty of this pattern lies in the surface details as loose geometric shapes float effortlessly on top of the pearlescent background. Simultaneously bold and poetic, the shapes mimic the movement of a dance.
Inspired by the instinctual line work that makes up an artist’s sketchbook, SKETCH is a playful pattern that is loose instead of labored. This hand-painted pattern employs an underlying structural composition that can be relied upon as a sequential “repeat.” The structural line work across the design is embellished using the same set of elements, but in different arrangements each time.
