IN THE WILD is a fun and liberating exploration of large-scale forms reminiscent of dynamic flowers, leaf-like abstractions, oversized shells, and curiously playful shapes. Positive and negative spaces are intentionally carved out across the background, fully immersing the shapely subjects. REVERIE celebrates regular arrangements, repeated forms, and the act of mark making. The circular movement of the brush combined with the repetition of executing the mark fosters a meditative state in the artist that manifests itself into the energy of the pattern. The pattern is set up in a grid, implying a sense of order, while the repetition of the objects invites the viewer to study and appreciate the nuances in each element. Â

Created with a unique proprietary tool, ETCH is a textural tone on tone ground that can be used as a subtle backdrop in any space. This pattern is created one stroke at a time, with a subtle difference in pressure or in the amount of pigment on the brush modifying each movement. The minimalist nature of the pattern invites the viewer to closer explore the nuances of each handmade line.
